Welcome to the online home of the Foy family! Though they currently live in Columbia, MO, Chrissy and Cory have had the chance to explore the country, starting in Lutz/Land O’ Lakes, FL (just north of Tampa). Chrissy headed off to grad school in Radford, VA, and it was during that time that Cory proposed to her.
Chrissy graduated in ‘03, and she and Cory were married in December. Chrissy had already taken a job in North Carolina, so right after they got married they moved to Hickory, NC.
Realizing that wasn’t where they wanted to be, and hoping to cut Cory’s 122 mile roundtrip commute to work, they moved to Gastonia, NC where they bought their first home.
Then, in December of ‘05, Cory accepted a position with CARFAX in Columbia, MO. He moved out west in January ‘06, and Chrissy followed in February.
Chrissy and Cory are expecting their first baby (a girl!) in June, and miss their family and friends (and weather!) from Tampa. Currently Chrissy is in school at East Carolina University studying Speech-Language Pathology, and Cory is a software developer and occasional speaker.
